The iMac came but didn't leave people entering the Mac market with a choice without screen. Įver since Apple killed the clones (1997) and restructured their product matrix, many people asked themselves why Apple left out a really basic desktop Mac, like the PowerMacintosh 4400 once was (which was based on a cheaper motherboard design Apple licensed to clone makers). Whatever: I wish you a happy new year! And may MWSF start soon and Steve Jobs present us some stuff we really, really want. For me, 2004 has a bit less than five hours left. The new year has either started already some hours ago or you'll still live in 2004 for a while.
